Cantina Rizzi was established in 1974 by Ernesto Dellapiana on his family’s 19th century estate on the hillsides of Langa in Piedmont. Over the years, Ernesto has been dedicated to expanding and improving Rizzi. Today, Rizzi owns 85 acres of vineyards in Trieso, making it one of the largest and unquestionably important wine estates in the Barbaresco growing area. The Rizzi estate is its own recognized Cru and includes the prestigious Boito Cru. Rizzi also owns vineyards in the prestigious Fondetta and Pajore Crus.
